Day 3 in Kenya was all about rest and reflection. After a busy few days, Carrie and the team enjoyed church, lunch by the ocean, and time at the house
After three nights of very little sleep, today was all about recharging. We started with a quick breakfast in the car as we made the 1 hour and 15-minute journey to church—roads are quite rough right now, but God kept our journey safe.
Church at Crossroads Academy was amazing, providing a moment of reflection, worship, and connection before the rest of the day’s activities.

After church, we ran a few quick errands and grabbed lunch at Yuls on the ocean—a beautiful spot with great prices and a relaxing environment. It was the perfect midday break after a busy start to the week.
Back at the house, Joy joined us for some reflexology, massages, and a refreshing swim in the pool—a much-needed moment of rest and restoration.
As the sun quickly fades and the moon rises, I’m grateful for this slower pace today. We’re all hoping to head to bed early and catch up on sleep so we can be refreshed for the exciting days ahead.
Even in rest, God’s presence is evident, reminding us that rest is part of the harvest—a time to recharge, reflect, and appreciate His blessings.
